Overview & Local Processing

CAD Viewer is designed with a strict privacy-first architecture. All 2D DXF blueprint parsing, 3D STL mesh rendering, geometric measurement calculations, and physical property analysis occur entirely locally within your browser on your own device using WebGL.

Data Collection and Storage

• Engineering Files & Geometry: We do not track, collect, store, inspect, or upload any of your CAD files, blueprints, geometric models, dimensions, or browsing history. Your proprietary designs never leave your local environment and are never transmitted to remote servers, external APIs, or third parties.
• Local Settings: The extension uses Chrome's local storage APIs strictly to remember your preferences (such as measurement units, display themes, and UI states). This data remains exclusively on your machine.
• Pro Waitlist & Account Communications: If you voluntarily submit your email address to join the Pro Waitlist, we collect this address solely to notify you regarding product updates, early access, and license validation. We never sell, rent, monetize, or share your email address with third parties.
